On April 13–14, the 2026 Jiangsu Province Taekwondo Industry Talent Leadership Program Training Session, as well as the China Taekwondo Association’s Refresher and Promotion Training Session for Intermediate Coaches and Promotion Examiners, was held in Wuxi. Held under the guidance of the China Taekwondo Association, this event focused on professional development, talent cultivation, and member services. It aimed to further improve the association’s member service system and promote the healthy development of the taekwondo industry in Jiangsu Province.
This training program was fully subsidized by the Jiangsu Taekwondo Association and attracted nearly 100 industry professionals from across the province, including representatives from municipal associations, professional member organizations, and dojang directors and coaches. The curriculum was designed to address the industry’s practical needs and was divided into three sections: “Member Services,” “Certification,” and “Dojang Management.”
The course specifically includes “Reflections on the Development of Taekwondo Gyms in the New Era,” “Taekwondo Business Practices and Overcoming Adversity,” “Taekwondo Technical Standards and Instruction,” “China Taekwondo Association Grade and Belt Promotion Standards and the Implementation of Promotion Examinations,” “Prospects for Association Member Service Policies and Plans for Member Activities,” and “Competitions and the Use of Electronic Protective Gear Systems.” Through a combination of theoretical instruction and hands-on training, the program aims to further enhance participants’ comprehensive abilities and practical skills.
While tradition endures and innovation continues, frontline coaches and practitioners have always been the driving force behind the development of the taekwondo industry in Jiangsu Province. During this event, participants engaged earnestly in practical training and, through theoretical and practical examinations, completed refresher training and promotion for Intermediate Coaches and Promotion Examiners certified by the Chinese Taekwondo Association. Several dojangs and clubs submitted applications to become professional group members of the Chinese Taekwondo Association.
Through this training session, the Association’s membership policies were promoted, membership services were implemented, and interaction between the Association and the broader taekwondo community became even closer. By advancing membership development and certification in tandem, the training outcomes were effectively translated into practical applications, further enhancing coaches’ professional capabilities and dojang operational standards, thereby demonstrating the Association’s founding commitment to prioritizing and serving its members.
Moving forward, the Jiangsu Taekwondo Association, under the guidance of the China Taekwondo Association, will continue to focus on enhancing member services, optimizing the organization and content of training programs, expanding the scope of services, and enriching the levels of service. It will work to promote the standardization and normalization of related efforts, thereby continuously raising the overall level of development in the industry.
